Check it out, the Kids Lit blog has posted a nice review of Un-Brella. While you are there enjoy the book reviews from picture books through YA. The blog is updated regularly and worth a visit.
One of my favorite blogs is by Fuse #8. This week she used this new word Hipification refering to an artical in the New York Times about librarians becoming more hip. I mean no harm, it just makes me smile.
It is official and everyone knows it! You want your child to grow up to be a geek because the geeks make all the money! This is your step by step guide to raising your child to be a geek.
DISCLAIMER: The author of this book feels that in order to be “responsible” he should inform his readers that he has no intent of raising his children to be geeks. He is raising his children to be “responsible” celebrities. The odds of raising a “responsible” celebrity are very small and not recommend for the general public.
This is an UnBook and will never be at a bookstore near you.
Have you ever noticed that it is always the pickle jar lid that gets stuck? There is a reason! Don’t Twist is a book about the evils of pickles. I hate pickles to put it mildly. I would love to tell you about the new book but I am good at following directions and have no plans to “twist”. This UnBook will never be at a bookstore near you.
