It has been nearly a year ago since I first began recognising symptoms that would result in the diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). I have been treated for the cancer and now wait for a liver transplant. I never dreamed that it would take this long. At the time it looked like I would have a new liver by Halloween and then my life would be back to normal. Well, I am still waiting along with thousands of others who need a gift. Please consider becoming an organ donor. I feel selfish as I am in need, but I would love to have a boring day at work. I miss living.
