Ideas that I am stealing from other people’s portfolio websites…

This is what the blog section will look like. The navigation on the sides will be stationary on the browser (with some jquery floaty effects).

This is the Tutorial section and It will basically be a blog post but If you click on tutorials on the blog category it will take you here.

Landing Page (outer page) for the portfolio section…

This page is my “Favorites” page that has Resources and links to other websites of friends, resources, favorites, and other miscellaneous websites that I personally like to visit…

Here’s My new home page, I would like it to have a featured work slideshow kind of thing. At the bottom, I changed it so that it has “about me” and then it has “featured posts” which would feature something from my portfolio, something from my blog, something from favorite links, & then something from my tutorials, that way they can see all on the home page what the whole website is about.

This is what the home page will look like.

This is what the landing page of the portfolio page will look like (the outer page), I want it so that when you hover over a small image of a piece of work, the big image on the right side will change along with its title(caption) to be an image of what the cursor is hovering over. Then when you click on the small image it take you to the “inner page” and will look like this:

It will have a description instead of images of different projects I’ve done, but it will have a few thumbnail images of the same project that it is describing and will feature one on the right. When you hover over the thumbnails the image on the right will change as well and when you click on it the image on the right will stay permanently there.

When you click on “Contact” it will appear like this…

This is what I have in mind for a home page and then when you click on contact.

Here are some thumbnail sketches of what I think my website could be. I like the icon in the middle kinda. What do you think about it?
