implementation

implementation:

the implementation for my website included several div tags along with html text and css. I think that the most difficult part was taking the site from photoshop to an actual live site. another problem that i ran into was that the way i originally designed the site wasn’t as simple as i had thought.

What a time this was…

This is the the second time that I have design lawrencefolio.com and I think that thisw is the better of the two. No it is not finished and I will be moving it over fully in to WordPress as soon as possible, but for now this it is a start. Any thought or crit that you would like to make to the site would be great! let me know and check often to see the changes and improvments.

I coded the site. Not fun.

It’s really been a frustrating experience. I’ve never had so much trouble with styling links. I think it might just be that Dreamweaver is dumb. Any ideas? Anyway, it’s not totally functional and I want to redesign the style side of it, but it’s done….ish.

Implementation

by Michelle

No matter where a website is designed, it always turns out differently on the web.

The implementation of this design has been a long process and is still continuing. Because I plan to keep this site and constantly improve upon it, I want it to work properly. That is one reason why I have been working with a programmer. This is not uncommon in the design world, and with a programmer that appreciates good design and knows his building materials great things can be produced with a good team. My implementation of the design has been simply through working with a programmer.

In the end, I plan on maintaining the site and continually updating it, so this will mean I will understand how the site has been built and how to improve upon it.
