My Jot Pro from Adonit has arrived and it is by far the best stylus I have used with my iPad. It was a project through Kikstarter and it is a great product. The package is hard to open and apparently it sticks to some screen protectors, but it doesn’t change the fact that Adonit designed an amazing product.

If you have ever used your finger of a stylus with the iPad you will have discovered that precision is a bit of a challenge because your finger or stylus blocks your view. Adinit solved this by making a fine point stylus with a flat clear disk on the end. The disk provides the width that the screen needs to recognize the input but because it is clear you can see exactly where you are drawing. An amazing great product!

There are times when I wonder if I am living a life worthy of the great blessing of liver transplant. | Living a life that matters, a life that makes the world a better place to be.

I once overheard a conversation where a father said that he read a book to his family while they did the dishes. Two weeks ago I started doing the same thing. Surprisingly it has turned into one of the highlights of my day. It is easy as a father to be physically in a house and at the same time be mentally vacant. I wonder what kind of a life my family would be living if I had died three years ago. This thought makes me actively try to be a part of my wife and children’s lives. Death will come. Yet I know that I will be together with my family after this life. Mortal death is just a temporary separation from them. While I am physically on this earth, I am trying to be an active part of my children’s life.

One of the greatest blessings of living through cancer, treatment and transplant is the friendship that I have developed with my wife. Just to hold her hand provides great comfort in the hardest of times. She is amazing. I have been blessed to be a part of her life.

In my attempt to keep busy this summer I am trying to learn new things and get something constructive done. I don’t have a daily project yet but I am thinking about starting one. It has been a good exercise for me in the past. My favorite one is the A-doodle-a-day project where I did one doodle a day for 109 days in a row. I am good at keeping a project going as long as I don’t miss a day. The first missed day is usually the end of the project. The doodle project was great because it took less than ten minutes each day. Hopefully I can come up with a project soon.

Lynda.com Tutorials

I have been watching tutorials from Lynda.com on using WordPress for the last few days. This has inspired me to make some changes to my website. WordPress 3 Essential Training is the current tutorial tat I am watching. It starts at the beginning and is very inclusive. I am always tempted to skip ahead but if I am patient and watch the whole thing, I always learn something new. I would recommend WordPress 3 Essential Training for anyone interested in learning WordPress. It starts at the very beginning and gets quite advanced.
