FYI, Not Much Really Changes.

Note to Unpublished Authors: Not much really changes. While having a published book is statistically good. One book doesn’t mean that there will be a second one. I have submitted several manuscripts since Un-Brella and they have all be turned down. “We like your artwork and the way you think, we just don’t think you have a story . . . yet”

So here is a little advice to myself: Pay attention if the same comments keep coming up. It is time for me to spend time refining the “art” of storytelling.

I will start by reading and enjoying the process of a story. Paying attention and enjoying the small events and why they are there.

I’m sorry to hear that there’s been no luck so far. Chin up. It’ll happen. You’re way too good for it not to.

I’ve been reading lots of childrens books lately, I can’t believe that some get published. I guess it’s good to know that even great artists get rejected. Everyone started with just one book.

Do you have to find the right publisher, or just the right person at a publishers to review your book?

I love your stories. You’re not getting any rejection from this guy. Somebody is going to like your stories and then watch out!! It was great to see you the other day even if it was only for a short time.
